Outdoor pool

From 15.04 the non-swimmer pool, the large water slides and parts of the sunbathing lawn are available in the outdoor pool.

Last bathing day at the outdoor pool on 18 September.
The non-swimmer pool there will remain open up to and including 25 September, but will only be heated with solar energy.

In bad weather and heavy rainfall, the pool management reserves the right to close the outdoor pool or keep it closed. This decision is made daily depending on the weather. Thermal baths

 

Sauna area: Monday – Sunday: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Bathing area: Monday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Notes:
  • The Thermalbad Aukammtal will be opened as usual on public holidays with the exception of Christmas Eve (24th December), Christmas Day (25th December) and New Year’s Eve. Special opening hours on New Year’s Day.
  • Children under the age of 2 have to wear a swim-diaper.
  • It is not allowed to take along your own food and beverages.
  • For hygienic reasons guests are asked to enter the sauna area without bathing clothes. Please take along at least one large bath towel.
  • The fee charged at the time of entrance is the valid entrance fee.
  • By paying the entrance fee visitors agree to follow the rules of the bathing facility.

Due to the current energy crisis, mattiaqua is implementing the energy-saving measure of not opening the Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme for the time being after the planned overhaul period.

Guided tour through the thermal baths

Once a month, the Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme can be visited outside of the regular opening hours. Join us on the 90-minute tour through the impressive atmosphere of the thermal baths and admire its technology. See the historic indoor swimming pool, the lavish and fascinating sauna facilities and the sophisticated technology.

Every first Friday in the month at 8.30 a.m. per person 2.50 euro.

Leisure

Due to the current energy crisis, mattiaqua is implementing the energy-saving measure of not operating the Henkell artificial ice rink this winter.

Winter season: November to March
Summer season (May to the end of August): Fri. and Sat. from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. inline skating (free)

The ice rink will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

More information

The Rettbergsauen Biebrich and Schierstein will end their season on Sunday, 18 September.
Until then, the current opening times of the passenger ferry “Tamara” apply.

Please note the notice on the travel times and the last departure of the “Tamara” ferry. After the last journey of the passenger ferry, it is no longer possible to leave the premises.
