The outdoor swimming pool will remain closed for the 2026 season due to renovation work.
Mon to Sun: 10 am – 8 pm
The ticket office closes one hour and the pool closes 30 minutes before the end of opening hours.
Public transport:
Bus lines 6 & 9 to Brückenkopf Kastel; bus line 28 to Bahnhof Kastel; regional trains S1 & S9. Mainz bus lines 54, 55, 56, 57 & 58 to Winterstraße, followed by a 15-minute walk.

A historic swimming pool is set to be made fit for the future in 2026. The Maaraue outdoor swimming pool, which opened in 1965 and is a listed building, is showing significant structural defects after more than 60 years of operation.
