Kleinfeldchen outdoor pool: Big pool party on Saturday, August 16
On Saturday, August 16, the Kleinfeldchen outdoor pool is hosting a big pool party from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The weather forecast is excellent – the event will take place as planned.
Look forward to an afternoon full of music, action, and water fun: DJ music, a water polo tournament, a mini disco for children, and the big diving competition at 4 p.m. will provide entertainment. The swimming school's entertainment team will offer hands-on activities in and around the water throughout the day.
"The pool party is a special offer for families and young guests during the summer holidays. We look forward to spending a sporty, cheerful, and refreshing day together with our guests," says Caroline Becker, head of the mattiaqua swimming school.
Tip: During the summer holidays, admission is free for children – the perfect opportunity for an unforgettable day of swimming.
Thermalbad Aukammtal: Closing time
From the 01.09. - 22.09.2025, the thermal baths will be completely closed for renovation work. The entire sauna area will close on Saturday, August 30, 2025, due to the construction site setup.
From 23.09.2025, the indoor saunas in the basement will be partially renovated.
In order to keep the Aukammtal thermal baths attractive, our annual basic cleaning and necessary repair and maintenance work is carried out during the above-mentioned inspection period. Following this, the basement of the sauna area will be partially renovated. You can look forward to new attractions and a visual upgrade in a contemporary ambience. There will be a reduced sauna admission price for the duration of the renovation work.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to continuing to offer you a relaxing time at the Aukammtal thermal spa.
Kleinfeldchen: Indoor swimming pool closed
The Kleinfeldchen indoor pool will be closed from Monday, 7 July to Saturday, 30 August due to extensive partial renovation work on concrete supports.
Mainzer Straße leisure pool: restricted opening hours
From 07 July up to and including 17 August
Swimming area: Tuesday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Sauna area: Tuesday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Swimming and sauna area: Saturday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The ticket office closes one hour before opening hours and the pool closes 30 minutes before closing time.
Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme: Closed from 01 June to 31 August 2025 inclusive
Due to our annual closure period, the Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme will be closed from 01 June to 31 August 2025 inclusive. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you again from 01 September 2025.
