With its thermal and mineral springs, Wiesbaden is a classic spa town. With its wealth of health, fitness and leisure facilities, the state capital Wiesbaden offers its citizens a high quality of life.

Whether it’s the Opelbad with its magnificent view, the Kaiser-Friedrich-Therme in the heart of the city with its unique luxury or the Thermalbad Aukammtal with its varied health and wellness offers. The same is true of the Maaraue, Kallebad and Kleinfeldchen open-air pools, which give visitors that holiday feeling from spring to autumn. But also the indoor swimming pools Kostheim, Kleinfeldchen and the indoor swimming pool Mainzer Straße have a lot to offer.

Immerse yourself in an exciting career: Become a pool attendant (m/f/d) at mattiaqua!

Not for the water-shy: your springboard to the future!

At mattiaqua, you’ll be responsible for more than just good weather in Wiesbaden’s swimming pools. As a pool attendant, you are the hero at the poolside. You are not only an expert in various swimming and diving styles, but also a trainer who turns non-swimmers into safe swimmers. Monitor pool operations and actively organise our course and wellness offers. Your duties will include first aid measures and ensuring general hygiene and cleanliness in the pool. You will also monitor the technical equipment and carry out minor maintenance work to ensure safe and efficient operation. You will keep an overview of the care and maintenance of the facilities and will be indispensable in the planning and organisation of operations.

Theory meets practice: your path to becoming a professional

In our practical training at mattiaqua and in theoretical block lessons at the Johann-Philipp-Reis-Schule in Friedberg, you will become an all-round talent. Your intermediate examination in the 2nd year of training and the final examinations in the 3rd year show how varied and exciting your training is. Once you have completed your vocational training and gained practical experience, you will even have the opportunity to start your master craftsman training.
