Lifeguard (f/m/d)

The positions can be filled on a full or part-time basis.

 

You should be committed to the following tasks:
  • Carry out water supervision
  • Planning, implementing and monitoring measures for occupational and operational safety as well as for traffic safety
  • Providing first aid
  • Carrying out cleaning and disinfection work
  • Cleaning, maintaining and servicing the facility
  • Looking after and advising our visitors
  • Taking on shift work and weekend duties
 
Our requirements:
  • DLRG life-saving badge in silver (not older than 2 years)
  • First aid course (not older than 2 years)
  • Health aptitude
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy periods Flexibility, especially in coordinating duty times
  • Communication skills and visitor-friendly demeanour, especially when in advising our pool guests

Specialist for pool operations (m/f/d)

The positions can be filled on a full or part-time basis for an unlimited period. 

 
You should perform the following tasks with commitment:
  • Supervision and monitoring of bathing operations
  • Care and maintenance of the baths including the technical facilities
  • assisting with and organising events and courses
  • Looking after the bathers
  • Cleaning work
  • Working in the sauna

  • A completed apprenticeship as a pool attendant or as a swimming pool attendant.

At mattiaqua, the compatibility of family and career is important. Remuneration is in accordance with pay group 5 of the TVöD.
Depending on the pay group and development level, the gross remuneration ranges from between approx. 2,250 euros and 3,000 euros.

Pool Manager at the Opelbad outdoor pool (f/m/d).

This is a full-time position.

The position is evaluated according to pay group 8 of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD). The grading depends on the personal requirements. Women are underrepresented in this position at the Eigenbetrieb.

We are therefore particularly pleased to receive applications from women. Severely disabled persons will be given preferential consideration if they are equally qualified.

 
You should be committed to the following tasks:
  • Be responsible for the management of an open-air swimming pool
  • Personnel management and organisation for about 15 employees
  • Drawing up duty and shift schedules
  • Supervising bathing operations, bathing facilities and compliance with house and bathing regulations
  • Planning, preparing and carrying out events, activities and courses
  • Looking after and advising bathers
  • Shift work
  • Implementing the legal and operational requirements to be complied with in bathing operations (obligation to ensure safety, hygiene regulations, safety at work, exercising domiciliary rights)
  • Carrying out administrative tasks
 

Your profile:
  • Master pool attendant or certified swimming pool attendant or pool attendant with at least three years of professional experience in a shift-leading position or as deputy pool attendant in shift management or as deputy pool manager
  • Social and leadership skills as well as identification with the city’s management principles
  • Flexibility in the performance of duties
  • Business management thinking and acting
  • Teamwork, cooperation and assertiveness skills
  • Knowledge in the use of MS Office standard software
  • Health aptitude

 

Due to the customer-friendly opening hours of the open-air swimming pool Opelbad, it is possible to work in shifts as well as on weekends and public holidays.
